The Knights of Butler Council 866 were honored to host the Icon of the Sacred Heart of Jesus that was blessed by Pope Francis. Four services were held in Butler during this time. One service was organized with the various men’s groups to pray for the start of the Conclave, one service was held in conjunction with “The Way” class, a Holy Hour for Peace was held at Saint Peter’s Church, and a school Mass was celebrated at Butler Catholic School. In total, over 200 people participated venerating the icon.
