The Knights of Butler Council 866 were pleased to be asked to support the work of the youth of the Butler/Pittsburgh area during their mission trip to Guatemala this spring. This group of students gave up their Spring Break to head to rural villages in Guatemala, where they offered Medical, Dental, and Eye Care to the underserved population. Group Co-Leader Madeline Burke, a Butler resident and member of St Clare of Assisi Parish, approached the Knights for their support. After the trip, she thanked the Knights for their support, stating that nearly 100 residents received support and care they otherwise would have gone without. The students reportedly had a unique and fulfilling trip.
